Just get a map over the web?
When you need critical information, can you count on internet supplied content to a mobile computer? We’re not so sure. And supporting our position is an article in the New York Times titled “Devices Enforce Silence of Cellphone, Illegally”. That is why OSX mapping and pre-planning content is loaded locally on every mobile computer.
