Mapping Data Development
If mapping data exists from a local government source for your area, we will load that data for you. However, if mapping data does not exists, or certain map elements do not exists, such as fire hydrants, or building foot prints, we can build the data for you.We acquire sources like water company hydrant maps, subdivision plans, air photography or satellite imagery to build the data for you. We can also collect and/or verify mapping data by driving your area.
Conversion of Floor Plans
If you have received facility drawings on paper, or have drawn your own building maps we can convert the plans into clearly readable digital documents for use within On-Scene Xplorer. We can also translate a variety of digital files formats into Adobe Acrobat and add notes and bookmarks for easier viewing.
Facility Tours
If you simply do not have the time to tour through facilities and collect floor plans and pre-incident planning information we can do this for you. We start by developing a list of facilities to tour. Then we will contact each facility owner or manager to collect any floor plans that may exists and schedule a time to walk the facility. We also ask the facility owner/manager to fill out a simple form to collect as much information as possible before the tour. During the tour, we verify information collected ahead of time and collect the necessary pre-planning information. The information is then loaded into On-Scene Xplorer and delivered to you.
Update Pre-Plan Information
We can help you keep your pre-plans up to date. We take your pre-plan database and contact all facility managers either via phone or e-mail/web interface to verify exiting information and determine if changes have occurred at the facility. We can also conduct site tours to verify that the current information is correct and to determine if any changes have occurred.
Mounting / Installation
Don’t even think about just sitting a computer on the dog box or on the dash. If the apparatus is in an accident, the loose computer becomes a projectile in the cab with the possibility of seriously injury or death to you and/or your crew. We offer computer mounting hardware and installation services to properly and safely mount the computers in your apparatus. Plus, with proper installation, the computers are powered up all the time and ready to go on a moments notice.
Custom Data Analysis
The mapping data you will use offers powerful analytical capabilities by our high-end in-house geographic information system. We can help you visualize your data in ways that are compelling and persuasive.
- Maps of drive time zones within your first due area.
- Call dispersion analysis.
- Animation of call location for the entire year displayed in a monthly progression.
- Maps showing the route, speed, and time an apparatus took to a call location.
Custom Cartography
Our staff of mapping professional can create custom maps for your reports, maps to be displayed in your station, or even maps for your web site. Also, if your not ready to implement our On-Scene Xplorer system, we are create map books for use in the apparatus. |
