Pennsylvania Relief Funding

On-Scene Xplorer has been approved for PA Relief Association Funding. The determination of funding was made recently by The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Governor’s Center for Local Government Services in Harrisburg, PA.

Local Government Policy Manager, Dean Fernsler states, “On-Scene Xplorer is technically sophisticated and directly impacts the lives and safety of all firefighters”.  Relief Association funds will allow firefighters to acquire On-Scene Xplorer provided the system becomes part of the inventory of the purchasing Relief Association. There are no restrictions on the number of installed units and funding includes support services. On-Scene Xplorer EMS mapping software system includes: software, rugged Panasonic Toughbook computer, GPS receiver, mapping data and mounting hardware with installation in the apparatus.

Pennsylvania COSTARS program

COSTARS is a new approach to the Cooperative Purchasing Program. COSTARS encourages the formulation of an interactive partnership between Local Public Procurement Units and the Commonwealth.

Iron Compass has been awarded COSTARS contract by the state for both Software and IT Hardware.
